We are a people first business that lives and breathes the phrase “happy staff, happy clients”. We know customer service is key to any business, so we strive to give consistent first class service with every client interaction.
While we are a new business we are not short on experience, some of our key staff have over 25 years of experience in the IT industry. Our goal is to help our clients get the best out of their IT and allow them to focus on running their business.
Noel Thompson
Managing Director
Noel is an experienced technical leader whose career has spanned 20+ years in the managed services industry. He has gained valuable experience working with international IT companies such as CCT, Wavex and Conosco in various roles.
At the end of 2022, Noel decided it was time for a new challenge, and what better challenge is there than running a fresh new company where you can do things the way you have always wanted to?
His passion is people; nothing makes him happier than being part of the career progression journey for anyone he works with. He firmly believes that anyone can achieve great things if they work in a positive environment and enjoy what they do. He takes pleasure in providing people with the technology they need to advance their businesses and careers.
For Noel, downtime pleasures are simple. Along with being a staunch sports fan, he enjoys spending time with family, having a good braai and a quiet beer or two.
Kevin Lovell
Head of Strategic Consultancy
Kevin is a seasoned technology professional, with a passion for using technology to drive business success. Kevin started his technology career at Bluetwo IT Solutions, where he quickly proved himself as a skilled and capable professional. He went on to start his own business, 777 IT Solutions, which focused on providing similar services to clients.
In 2016, Kevin joined Conocso, a leading international managed services provider, where he gained valuable experience in the MSP space. During his time there, Kevin progressed from the support desk to the role of Escalations Team Lead, and eventually Senior Infrastructure Engineer.
At the end of 2022, Kevin decided to pursue a new challenge that aligned with his personal and family goals. He joined Altostratus Tech as the Head of Strategic Consulting, where he brings his exceptional attention to detail and business acumen to simplify client businesses while adding value.
With a deep passion for technology, Kevin views it not just as a career, but also a hobby. When he's not working, he enjoys spending time in the great outdoors with family and friends. Additionally, Kevin is engaged in his local community and serves as an active member of the CPF.
Andrew Sebastian
Head of client relations
Meet Andrew, a seasoned IT professional with a steadfast commitment to client satisfaction. With a career spanning over 15 years in the IT sector, Andrew has garnered diverse experience, initially in the retail domain, then venturing into the gaming and manufacturing industries, before finding his niche in the Managed Service Provider (MSP) space.
Joining Conosco in late 2015, Andrew played a pivotal role in shaping the remote support team, showcasing expertise that transcends traditional IT boundaries. His ethos revolves around integrity, compassion, and thoughtful consideration for both his team and clients.
In a pivotal move at the close of 2023, Andrew embraced change and became an integral part of the Altostratus family, assuming the role of Head of Client Relations alongside Noel and Kevin. For Andrew, nothing surpasses the joy derived from cultivating enduring relationships with clients.
Away from the professional arena, Andrew balances his time between business responsibilities, lighthearted banter with his team, and personal pursuits. His hobbies include collecting model cars, and he cherishes moments spent with family and friends.
